The actual grant will be merit based and limited in number. Grants will range in value from $1000 to $3000 per year. The total value of the Grant-In-Aid Packages however will depend on the additional financial aid for which a student qualifies. GIA packages will be designed to cover up to the direct cost of attendance for expenses such as tuition, room, board, books (up to $500 maximum) and mandatory fees. **No refunds will be generated as a result of GIA awards**.

Boeing Scholarship
Scholarship dollars are to be retained by the University and not given as cash awards.
DOE Computational Science Scholarship
Scholarships provide $3,000 toward college expenses, during each year of the program. Each year that a scholarship is received, obligates the student to a year of full-time employment at a DOE laboratory (at the discretion of DOE).
Dr. Rather G. Brown Scholarship
The scholarship is granted in the amount of $1,500 toward Fall semester 2018 expenses.
Houston Alumni Chapter Scholarship
The Scholarship is granted for one academic year in the amount of $1,000 and is allocated equally for Fall and Spring Semesters.
John Stallworth Scholarship

Merit Scholarship
Covers the cost of tuition. Renewable for up to 8 semesters.
