Presidential Academic Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to Incoming Freshmen with a cumulative high school GPA 3.0; an ACT score of 24 or above or SAT equivalent. The scholarship covers tuition, room, board, fees and a book allowance of $500.
Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) - membership scholarships
TMCF provides merit-based scholarships to students seeking financial assistance to complete their education. TMCF scholarship recipients are awarded annually to students meeting the TMCF eligibility criteria. Awards are made each semester and are based on a verification process designed to ensure that academic expectations are being met and that there is an unmet financial need.
Transfer Scholarship - Valley
This scholarship is awarded to Transfer students who received an AA degree from a regionally accredited community/junior college with an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. This scholarship covers tuition only and a $300 book allowance.
University Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to Incoming Freshmen with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0; an ACT score of 20-21 or SAT equivalent. The scholarship covers 1/2 tuition and fees and a book allowance of $200.
Valedictorian/Salutatorian (eligibility)
A minimum high school GPA of 3.00 and an ACT composite score of 20 (22 for out-of-state students) or SAT composite of 930 (1010 for out-of-state applicants) or above are eligible to receive an academic scholarship which covers tuition and required fees, room and board.
Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to Incoming First-time Freshmen who have attained the honor of being the Valedictorian or Salutatorian of the their high school graduating class. The scholarship covers Full tuition and fees and a $200 book allowance.
Vice President's Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to Incoming Freshmen with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0; an ACT score of 22-23 or SAT equivalent. The scholarship covers Full tuition and fees and a book allowance of $300.
Private Fund - General Scholarship (incoming freshmen)
Private Fund Scholarships, though merit-based, are awarded to assist students with meeting the cost of tuition, room and board, and books. Private Fund Scholarships are not awarded to net the student a refund.
