CAS Merit Tuition Scholarship - Freshmen criteria
These scholarships are generally granted for three to six credit hours and students must be enrolled at least half-time.
Eligibility: Transfer and NEIU continuing students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
Entering Freshmen must be in the top 15% of their graduating class or have a minimum ACT score of 24 or SAT of 1110.

GCOE Merit Tuition Scholarship
The GCOE Merit Tuition Scholarships can be granted over the entire span of the students undergraduate study at Northeastern Illinois University, not to exceed four years, or a total of eight semesters, including summer terms.
Eligibility: To be eligible, students must have a major declared in the Goodwin College of Education, minimum of 60 credit hours, and cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

UHP Merit Tuition Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded to cover from 3 to 24 credit hours for the academic year at the in-state tuition rate.
Eligibility: To stay in good academic standing in the UHP, to maintain eligibility for UHP scholarships and resources, and to be eligible to complete the UHP, all students must maintain a cumulative Northeastern Illinois University grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 and a GPA of 3.0 in UHP courses. To be considered for any of these scholarships, you must be admitted to Northeastern and to the UHP.
