The Office of Admissions bases award amounts on the: overall academic qualifications of the student, competitiveness of the applicant pool and available funding.
Eligibility: Both first-year and transfer out-of-state students are eligible for Brown & Gold. Applicants must have a permanent residence outside of the State of New Jersey.

Eligibility: All admitted international students (on valid non-immigrant visa) are automatically considered for Rowan University international scholarship awards. In order to receive priority consideration for the international scholarship we encourage students to apply for admission and complete their application by March 1. There is no separate scholarship application.

To be considered for one of the three $1,000 renewable PTK scholarships, transfer students should apply to the University before March 1 and must meet the following criteria:
Eligibility: β€’ Students enrolled full-time in a community college, must be a member of their Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at the time of application. β€’ Students will earn their associate degree at the conclusion of the spring semester, enrolling full-time at Rowan University the following fall semester. β€’ Students must submit their offcial transcript to Rowan University by May 27; students with the three highest GPA’s recorded on their final official community college transcript will be selected. β€’ Recipients will be notified the first week of June. No additional application is required for consideration.

Rowan University Scholars Program
The Rowan University Scholars Program awards merit-based scholarships to eligible first time students who will be enrolled full time during the fall semester of their freshman year at Rowan. Individual award amounts are determined at the discretion of Rowan University’s Division of Student Affairs based on the overall academic qualifications of the student, the competitiveness of the applicant pool and available funding.

The Transfer Trustee Scholarship is renewable and intended to support all educational expenses, including fees, but excluding tuition cost.
Eligibility: Transfer Trustee Scholarship is awarded to students transferring to Rowan as full-time undergraduates. While special consideration is given to students from New Jersey community colleges, all admitted transfer students are automatically considered for this scholarship. The Transfer Trustee Scholarship is awarded to transfer students entering during the fall term or the spring term.
