Francis B. and Paige D. LāHommedieu Scholarship awards ($1,750ā$3,500 per year) are based on available funds and open to eligible transfer students from community colleges.
Eligibility: We will consider admitted transfer applicants who: Apply to RutgersāNew Brunswick by February 1 for fall admission; The student must be enrolled in a transfer program at a New Jersey community college at the time of application; The student must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; The student must have a minimum 3.8 cumulative grade-point average for consideration; The student must have earned an associate degree (AA or AS) by June 1.
The New Jersey Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship (NJ STARS) II... provides eligible NJ STARS students attending NJ community colleges with funding (up to $1,250 per semester) to transfer to a NJ four-year university to earn a bachelorās degree.
Eligibility: Participation in NJ STARS does not guarantee admission to Rutgers. Students must have participated in NJ STARS at a New Jersey community college. Eligible students may receive the NJ STARS II award for up to four consecutive semesters, excluding summer sessions.

Phi Theta Kappa scholarship ($8,000 per year) recipients are notified beginning in December for spring enrollment and April for fall enrollment.
Eligibility: We will consider admitted transfer applicants who: Apply to RutgersāNew Brunswick by October 1 for spring admission or by February 1 for fall admission; Submit all required credentials by the application due date. The student must be a member of their community collegeās Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at the time of application; The student must have completed at least 45 credits...; minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.8.
RutgersāNew Brunswick First-Year Merit Award (single scholarship award process)

With our single scholarship award process, one merit-based scholarship will be awarded to selected first-year admitted students based on a careful and comprehensive review of information provided on the studentās application.
Eligibility: First-year admitted students who apply for fall admission by December 1 and are offered admission to at least one school at RutgersāNew Brunswick will be considered for a merit-based award.
Rutgers UniversityāCamden Merit Scholarships
New Jersey undergraduate students can dramatically reduce their college costsāup to 100%āat RutgersāCamden with this program which covers the remaining costs of in-state tuition and fees after any other need-based federal, state, and/or institutional aid has been applied.
Eligibility: All applicants to RutgersāCamden are considered for merit scholarships. There is no separate application for merit scholarships, but students who submit an undergraduate admissions application by the priority deadline will receive priority consideration.

The Chancellorās Scholarship is awarded to admitted first-year students for four years and transfer students for two years of undergraduate study. The annual amount can range up to $5,000. The Carr Scholarship... The annual amount is $10,000 for a total of $40,000 across four years of undergraduate study. The Presidential Scholarship covers the in-state cost of tuition, room and board annually during the three years of undergraduate coursework.
Eligibility: All first-year and transfer applicants applying for fall semester to RutgersāNewark are considered for merit-based scholarships. There is no separate application, but students who submit an undergraduate admissions application by the priority deadline will receive consideration for scholarships.
