Using a combination of grants and other gift aid the Blaze Forward Program provides students meeting all eligibility requirements with funding that will cover 100% of their tuition and course fees for the fall and spring semesters.
Eligibility: Be a Texas resident eligible for in-state tuition rates. Be eligible to receive awards through Federal Pell Grant and TEXAS Grant programs. Have a combined student and parent adjusted gross income of $100,000 or less each tax year. Enroll full-time at UTA (minimum of 12 undergraduate hours each long semester).

Maverick Academic Scholarships range from $1,000 to $8,000 per year and may be renewed for up to three additional years. The awards vary based upon individual student profile, the stronger the profile, the higher the award.
