Jindal School donor scholarships (no-application examples noted)
The Jindal School awards merit-based scholarships to current undergraduate students for the fall semester. Each scholarship has specific requirements, including but not limited to academic performance, area of study, residency status, leadership, community service and level of student organization involvement.
Eligibility: Students who fully answer all questions and all essay questions in the second part of the application improve their likelihood of being considered for a Jindal School scholarship award.

National Merit Scholarship Package
Complete coverage of UT Dallas tuition for up to eight semesters. (Four academic years following initial enrollment.)
University Commons room (first-year dorms) or 4×2 University Village apartment in on-campus housing (you can upgrade at your own expense).
COMET 14 meal plan or equivalent (for scholars living on campus).
Stipend for books and supplies.
A generous study abroad stipend to support international education. An additional stipend is available for scholars studying abroad for a full semester (fall or spring).
One-time summer research stipend.

Charles Butt Scholarship
$8,000-$10,000/yr
Consists of $8,000 -$10,000 in annual funding for up to four years, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities, mentorship from sitting public school educators, and participation in a statewide aspiring teachers network facilitated by the Charles Butt Foundation.

Dean’s Fellowship (NSM)
$40,000/yr
The fellowship offers a stipend of $40,000 for the first year of the program, with no teaching assistant (TA) duties required ... the award covers the cost of tuition and appropriate health insurance purchased through the university.
Eligibility: This competitive, merit-based fellowship is available for highly qualified incoming doctoral students in the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Only US citizens or permanent residents are eligible for this award. Students are nominated by their department.

EEF Scholarship (NSM)
$5,000/semester
It awards $5,000 per semester for two long semesters (fall or spring). It is potentially renewable for up to two additional long semesters (fall or spring) in the second year upon demonstrating excellent performance in the program.
Eligibility: This is a competitive, merit-based fellowship for highly qualified incoming students for pursuing either a doctoral degree in the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics or a master’s degree offered by the Science/Mathematics Education Department of the School. Only US citizens or permanent residents are eligible for this award. Students are nominated by their department.

Galerstein Endowed Scholarship
$1,000/yr
One to two $1,000 tuition and fee awards per year may be given.
Eligibility: The Galerstein Endowed Scholarship is open to currently enrolled undergraduate students in the School of Interdisciplinary Studies who demonstrate financial need and academic merit. Academic potential may be considered.

Jonsson School competitive scholarships (application required)
Jonsson School Academic Success Awards are offered to continuing freshman, sophomore and junior students, when funds are available. These awards are made possible by funding from the Excellence in Education Scholarship Endowment and the Williams Communications Solutions Scholarship Endowment. Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science Endowed Scholarships are also offered to continuing freshman, sophomore and junior students when funds are available. Qualified students will be automatically considered for these awards; no application is needed.
Eligibility: The Jonsson School offers multiple merit-based scholarships to continuing full-time engineering and computer science majors. Other scholarship support is a factor in the selection process.
