The UTRGV Graduate Gateway Scholarship offers graduate students from all disciplines a great opportunity to help fund their studies at UTRGV. The award consists of a one-time, up to $1,000 scholarship.
Eligibility: Newly admitted (accelerated online and traditional) graduate students will be eligible for this scholarship. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours per term (or 3 hours per module) for the first semester. MSA Scholarship - Fall & Spring
A Fall and Spring semester scholarship covering full tuition and fees, $500 per semester for books and double occupancy housing not covered by other federal, state, institutional grant, scholarship, or other gift-aid programs (s).

GPA 3.2+
The scholarship is a 2-year renewable scholarship valued at up to $37,400 (2-year total). (includes tuition and mandatory fees for fall, spring, and summer semesters and an annual room and board scholarship for fall and spring.)

Top 10% Scholarship - one-time
Award
$1,000 one-time in-state
A one-time scholarship of $1,000 awarded to students graduating in the top 10% of their high school class. School must be within the Cameron, Hidalgo, Willacy, Starr, or Zapata counties. Students must not already have a UTRGV Institutional scholarship of at least $1,000. Upon receiving the award, students are required to enroll in a minimum of 12 hours per semester at UTRGV.
Eligibility: A one-time scholarship of $1,000 awarded to students graduating in the top 10% of their high school class. School must be within the Cameron, Hidalgo, Willacy, Starr, or Zapata counties.
