Chancellor’s Fellows is valued at up to $7,500 a year and may be renewed for a total of eight consecutive, full-time fall or spring semesters.

Students admitted into the MD program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine are automatically considered for merit scholarships; no separate application is required. Admissions scholarships are limited to tuition and mandatory fee expenses.

Housing grants may be offered to select recipients as a one-time $10,000 award ($5000 for the fall and spring semesters) that can be used toward UIC campus housing.

Greer Scholarship - up to $5,000

Renewable scholarships of up to $5,000 are provided to entering first-year and transfer students, who demonstrate excellence and perseverance in their academic pursuits.

Honors College Scholarships

The Honors College offers a range of scholarships for incoming first-year students. Scholarships are awarded based on the competitiveness of a student’s admissions application and the strength of their interview, an additional requirement for the college. (Supplemental Honors College application is required).
