Economics Department Scholarships
Several departmental scholarships (e.g., Manjarrez Hawn and Centene Charitable Foundation Scholarship; Sharon G. Levin Scholarship; Robert L. Sorensen Scholarship; Elizabeth M. Clayton Memorial Scholarship) are awarded annually to full-time undergraduate students who have demonstrated academic merit.
Eligibility: Many scholarships require students to be full-time (12 or more hours per semester) and demonstrate academic merit; some consider financial need.

The Department of Computer Science offers a variety of different merit scholarships for undergraduate study available to departmental majors.
Eligibility: Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in courses taken in the department (for the Computer Science Scholarship). Boeing Company Scholars Program recipients must have a minimum GPA of 3.2.

These scholarships are available to US Citizens or permanent residents and can only cover non-resident charges.
Eligibility: Students’ residency statuses are reviewed when they are admitted to the university. If a student is considered a non-Missouri resident at the time of admission, they will automatically be considered for a Non-Resident Scholarship or the Metropolitan Rate.

Goldwater Scholarship award
$7,500/yr
The scholarship covers eligible expenses for tuition, fees, books, room and board up to a maximum of $7,500 per academic year.
Eligibility: Awarded on the basis of merit to students who are Sophomores or Juniors during the current academic year and who have excellent academic records and demonstrate interest in and potential for careers in Mathematics, the Natural Sciences, and Engineering.

These scholarships are available to US Citizens or permanent residents and can only cover non-resident charges.

The Morris K. Udall Scholarship is offered to students studying environment, Native American health and tribal policy; details on funding are on the Udall Foundation site.

Each year, the Honors College selects twenty-five local, rising seniors students to become St. Louis Scholars; five of those students will be selected to become Opportunity Scholars, receiving an all-inclusive scholarship and more. $30,000 total
Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation awards 30,000 merit based scholarships to college students who wish to attend graduate school in preparation for careers in government or public service.
Eligibility: Candidates must be nominated by their current institution; eligible students should be junior-level with a superior academic record and committed to a career in public service.
