Distinguished Merit Scholarships (campaign / donor-funded)
Distinguished merit scholarships are available to students of any major interest; to date, 15 UNCW students have received four scholarships supported by the Sidbury, Chancellor’s, Bess Smith, and Jean and Eric Rosenberg endowments.
Tuition-equivalent Honors scholarship
The awards may range from $500 a year to an award equivalent of in-state tuition and fees (~$7,500 per year). The average Honors scholarship award is $2,000 and renewable for three additional years as long as students are in good standing in the Honors College and make satisfactory annual progress toward graduating with University Honors.

Considered a merit scholarship; recipient selected on demonstrated academic ability; recipient shall have earned a 3.5 GPA in at least 6 hours in the International Affairs minor curriculum.
