Allowance for a full-time assistantship is between US$690 and US$920 per month.
Research and teaching assistantships are funded by the university and include tuition waivers and stipends, which vary according to the recipient’s teaching load.

The nation’s largest source of merit-based college scholarships. Includes full-tuition scholarship, monthly subsistence allowance, and funds for textbooks.

High school scholarship / In-college scholarship
* AFROTC offers many scholarship opportunities.
* Cadets who receive an Air Force scholarship will start to receive a monthly stipend when their scholarship is activated.
* Cadets who receive an Air Force scholarship will also receive $900 per year in book funds ($450 per semester).
Eligibility: The scholarships are based on merit, not need.
Students who are seniors in high school can apply for a scholarship from May 1 to December 1 at http://afrotc.com/scholarships/.
What grades do I have to maintain?
Scholarship cadets must maintain a 2.5 GPA, and all cadets must have a 2.0 GPA, to enter the Professional Officer Course (POC - for juniors and seniors).
