Hutchison Scholarship award

The Hutchison Scholarship offers a one-time award of $4,000 upon admission to approximately 30 outstanding first-generation college freshman.
University-wide general scholarship consideration
Every admitted freshman is considered for some University-wide general scholarships as well as college and school awards. There is not a separate scholarship application.

Cockrell School merit awards (general)
Undergraduates received more than $10 million in merit-based awards this past year, including awards for first-year and current students.
Presidential Scholar award
On top of the $5,000 given to the scholars annually, there is a one-time $1,500 Enrichment Scholarship to be used for an internship, research, study abroad or professional conference experience.
ULN award
ULN is an incentive-based scholarship program designed to help students be part of a community and provide them with leadership training. By meeting these program requirements students can earn $20,000 over four years.
Carlos and Clara Quintanilla Scholarship
The Carlos and Clara Quintanilla Scholarship is a $5,000 spring tuition scholarship, which will recognize an undergraduate student enrolled in the Cockrell School of Engineering.
Charles Butt Scholarship award
Award: $8,000/year for up to four years, as well as professional development opportunities and participation in a Scholar community.
Continuing Student Scholarship (COE)
Award: Amounts vary between $1,000 and $5,000
Dr. David Nilsson Scholarship
The Dr. David Nilsson Scholarship is a $2,000 spring tuition scholarship, which will recognize an undergraduate student who graduated from a high school in Mexico.
Education Abroad scholarship range
Scholarship awards can range from $500 to $6,500.
Ethel Loving de Diaz Scholarship
The Ethel Loving de Diaz Scholarship is a $4,500 spring tuition scholarship that recognizes a student with financial need.
Forty Acres Scholarship
Description: Full-ride, merit-based scholarship for UT Austin Award: Tuition, living and book stipend, and enrichment and professional experiences for four years
Merit Scholarship (COLA)
TAMS tuition waiver
The Tuition Assistance for Mexican Students (TAMS) award provides a waiver of the nonresident portion of a student's tuition bill. The TAMS award is not a cash award.
Terry Scholarship (typical)
The Terry Scholarship offers assistance to cover tuition, books and living costs, renewable for up to four years. Traditional Scholars received an average scholarship of $18,000 for 2015-2016; Transfer Scholars received a set stipend of $8,650 for 2015-2016. (Varies per student. Funds up to the official Cost of Attendance.)
