$5,000/yr
This scholarship carries a value of $5,000 per year and will next be available to a first-year student entering in the fall of 2026.
Eligibility: Wake Forest offers students who know that they have an interest in entrepreneurship the opportunity to participate in the Program in Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship early in their college experience.

Mullen/Carswell Scholar - continuing award
$1,500/yr
The scholarship is $1,500 per year (though it could be less if the student has extensive other scholarships or financial aid packages).
Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least one year of coursework at Wake Forest and are judged on the basis of academic and extracurricular leadership while here. The competition is keen, with recipients generally standing at least in the top 10% of the class.

Presidential Scholarship - $16,000 annual
$16,000/yr
Twenty renewable scholarships of $16,000 each are awarded annually to students admitted to Wake Forest who possess exceptional talents in art, dance, debate, music, and theatre.
Eligibility: The award is based on exceptional talents in art, dance, debate, music, and theatre; applicants must present evidence of outstanding talent and documentation (such as art portfolios, debate records, taped performances, etc.) and recommendations.

Richter Scholarships... award competitive, independent study scholarships of up to $6,000 for students...
Eligibility: Richter Scholarships will be awarded to students proposing an independent study project requiring travel away from Winston-Salem. International projects are especially encouraged.

Stamps Scholarship (continuing) - full standard cost of attendance
The Stamps Scholarship is a prestigious award that recognizes exceptional Wake Forest students who demonstrate outstanding intellectual potential, leadership, and community engagement. Benefits include full standard cost of attendance funding starting in the spring semester and eligibility for up to $5,000 in merit grant funding each summer.
Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least one year of coursework at Wake Forest. The Committee on Scholarships and Student Aid, in collaboration with the Stamps Scholars Program, will nominate a limited number of current students. Selected candidates must participate in two interviews: one on-campus at WFU and another with the Stamps Foundation interview team.

Undergraduate Research Fellowship - summer award
$4,000 one-time
Up to 150 competitive, merit-based fellowships each year financially assist students who collaborate with faculty mentors on research projects. The awards can be used during the summer and are in the amount of $4,000.
Eligibility: Student applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average at the time of application. Sophomore standing (29 or more credits passed) is required by the time the research project begins.

WFU Study Abroad Scholarship - typical award range

WFU Study Abroad Scholarship Awards range from $1,000 to $2,000. To be eligible students must (1) study abroad on a WFU-sponsored program or an approved Affiliate program; (2) receive academic credit while abroad; (3) be fully enrolled; and (4) be an undergraduate while studying abroad.
