Military Enhanced Recognition Incentive and Tribute - MERIT Scholarship
The Military Enhanced Recognition Incentive and Tribute (MERIT) Scholarship provides financial aid to children, spouses and financial dependents of members of the United States Armed Forces or state organized militia who, at any time on or after August 2, 1990, while New York State residents, died or became severely and permanently disabled while performing their military duties, whether in combat or not.

Fienga Scholarship award
$1,000 one-time
The Fienga Scholarship supports Italian majors and minors at Hunter College to study abroad in Italy. The $1,000 scholarship is currently available for students participating in the Winter Program in Florence, Italy.
Eligibility: Applicants should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and currently be an Italian major or minor student. Students enrolled in Intermediate Italian 2 (ITAL 20200) who intend to declare an Italian major or minor will also be considered.
