Merit Scholarships for International Students (admission-based)

Undergraduate international students may be eligible for merit scholarships and Honors Program Scholarships based on the strength of their admission credentials. Students are automatically considered for and awarded merit scholarships through the admission process and are invited to apply for the Honors Program if they meet the criteria outlined on the Honors Program website under General Information.

Governor’s Scholarship Program (Roberta B. Willis Need-Merit Scholarship Program)

The scholarship provides a merit-based award to Connecticut students with the above outlined credentials who will begin college in the fall 2013 and beyond.

Eligibility: It is open to any Connecticut resident who is a high school senior or graduate with a high school junior year class rank of 20% or better and/or SAT scores of at least 1200 or ACT score of at least 25. A FAFSA application and scholarship specific application, which can be completed through high school guidance offices, are required by February 15th for the following academic year. The student must also maintain full-time status.
