PTK Scholarship
$1,000/yr
Award amount $1,000/year. All PTK scholarship recipients also qualify for the highest Lander Transfer scholarship ($2,000/year). Thus these students will receive scholarships totaling $3,000/year.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the PTK Scholarship, you must be an active member of PTK and be transferring into Lander with at least 12 post high school credit hours. Please submit a copy of an active PTK membership card to the Office of Financial Aid.

Eligibility: A limited number of scholarships may be awarded to transfer students who have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or better with at least 12 post high school credit hours earned, but no more than 90 attempted hours. To be considered, a student must have earned at least 67% of all attempted hours and must enroll as a full-time student at Lander.

Alumni Heritage Scholarship - standard
Qualifying students receive $500 in scholarship assistance at Lander University each semester, renewable for up to seven (7) additional semesters, for a total scholarship award of $4,000.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the Alumni Heritage Scholarship, students must: be the child or grandchild (biological or adopted) of a Lander University alumnus/alumna, and complete the Alumni Heritage Scholarship Application; be eligible for admission to Lander as either a first-time freshman or entering transfer student for the semester in which they apply for the scholarship.

Departmental Scholarships (general)
Scholarships are awarded annually by each department, based on the annual availability of funds, the donors criteria and the selection process of each department.
Eligibility: An application is required to determine eligibility. Departmental scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the academic department. Departmental scholarships may reduce other Lander institutional aid.

Lander Graduate Scholarship - need-based

The Lander Graduate Scholarship will award up to $1,000 to individuals on the basis of need. Scholarship is available to full-time (6 hrs) graduate students. Scholarship may be renewed for one additional year. There are a limited number of scholarships available.

There are two-, three- and four-year merit-based scholarships providing full tuition. Scholarships also include annual book allowances and a monthly stipend.
Scholarships are awarded at different monetary levels. At some schools an ROTC scholarship is worth up to $100,000+, which goes towards tuition and educational fees. Also, scholarship winners receive an allowance of up to $1,500 a year and $1,200 a year for books.
Eligibility: ROTC scholarships are not based on financial need. Instead, they're awarded on merit. Merit is exhibited in academic achievement and extracurricular activities, such as sports, student government or part-time work.

Second Master's Degree Scholarship - final two courses
Students who have earned a masterβs degree from Lander University and wish to seek a second masterβs degree may receive a scholarship equivalent to the full cost of tuition for the final two courses of the second masterβs degree.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the LU Second Masterβs Degree Scholarship, students must: Have earned their 1st masterβs degree from Lander; Be in good standing with the university and have no financial holds on their account.
