Ben and Pauline Stanley Undergraduate Excellence Award
May be awarded to full-time students enrolled in the School of Renewable Natural Resources. Recipients will be chosen based on academic performance consistent with scholarship criteria used by the School of Renewable Natural Resources and will be selected by the School of Renewable Natural Resources Scholarship Committee.
Eligibility: A student may only receive this award once during his/her academic career in the School of Renewable Natural Resources.

Gilbert Foundation - M.S. assistantship
$16,500/yr
Annual stipends are generous and include a full waiver of tuition and student fees. Stipends for MS and PhD assistantships are listed elsewhere on the page: $16,500 and $20,000 per year for M.S. and Ph.D. students, respectively.
Eligibility: To be eligible, M.S. applicants must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 overall and 3.25 for last two years. Ph.D. applicants must have a cumulative graduate GPA of 3.6. Applicants must submit GRE scores; verbal and quantitative GRE scores of at least 153 and 144 respectively are noted; ideal writing score 4.0 or above.

John Peter Labouisse / Ducks Unlimited Scholarship
$4,000/yr
The amount of the scholarship shall be a minimum of $2,000 per semester, or $4,000 per year.
Eligibility: The recipient(s) of this award shall be at least one full-time graduate student in good standing in the LSU School of Renewable Natural Resources. Preference given to students who have volunteered for DU and pursuing study focused on waterfowl, wetland management, or wetland ecology.

Laborde Award
$1,000-$2,000/semester
Presented annually in the amount of $1,000 per semester, up to $2,000, to recognize a senior who has demonstrated leadership in the School of Renewable Natural Resources.
Eligibility: The recipient of this award shall be a full-time student in good standing. Eligible students should have completed at least 96 hours of coursework and be scheduled to graduate in the following three semesters, including summer, but no later than one year following selection. A minimum GPA of 3.25 in all college coursework is required.

The President's Alumni Scholars Award recipients will receive the following:

* Louisiana resident value: approx. $33,000 per year
* Non-Louisiana resident value: approx. $50,000 per year
* $2,000 study abroad stipend
* The opportunity to earn up to an additional $1,550 per year by participating in the President's Future Leaders in Research Program
Eligibility: Prospective freshmen, with a strong record of high academic achievement, leadership, and service, are nominated for consideration through the admissions process. * A one-time use $1,100 laptop stipend
Eligibility: Prospective freshmen, with a strong record of high academic achievement, leadership, and service, are nominated for consideration through the admissions process. Prospective students must complete their application to the university through the Common Application, and submit all required documentation by the scholarship priority deadline, December 15, to be considered.
