Automatic scholarships are easy - just apply and be admitted. A separate application is not required. Transfer Scholarship will be awarded automatically to 2026-2027 undergraduate transfer students (completed 2 or more semesters at another institution), who are U.S. citizens, seeking their first undergraduate degree, and have a GPA of 3.25 or higher at the time of admission.

Moorhead Scholars - tuition coverage

Beginning Fall 2025, the Moorhead Scholars program covers out-of-pocket tuition costs for eligible Moorhead High School graduates at Minnesota State Moorhead.

International Student Scholarships (MSUM)

Minnesota State Moorhead offers **300+ college scholarships** based on a variety of factors, including academic achievement, diversity, financial need and talent.

PTK one-time award (based on enrolled credit status)

Every PTK member who transfers to Minnesota State Moorhead in an undergraduate program is eligible to receive a one time scholarship of $500 based on enrolled credit status, in addition to the merit scholarship.
