Academic Distinction Award
The SDSU OOS Academic Award Scholarship program provides competitive, merit-based scholarships to attract and admit highly qualified non-resident students from targeted regions to pursue their undergraduate studies at SDSU in one of its many academic programs. Scholarships will be awarded in three different tiers: Academic Presidential Award, Academic Excellence Award, and Academic Distinction Award based on academic performance.

Beatty Endowed Scholarship
Available to new transfer students from Imperial Valley College who plan to earn a teaching credential or major in a program in the College of Engineering or Fowler College of Business. Award values between $500-$1,000 each.
Economics Scholarship (typical award)
Admitted California high-achieving students with a major in Economics may be eligible for scholarships with award amounts typically $5,000 or more per year.
SDSU International First-Year Student Advantage Scholarship Program
A limited number of scholarships are offered to international first-year students with strong academic records and engagement in co-curricular activities. The Office of Admissions will notify the recipients.
Spencer Masonic Endowed Scholarship
Available to new first-year students from Chula Vista, CA. Award amounts range from $1,000 or more per year.
de Llamas Opportunity Scholarship
Scholarship award values up to $5,000 each.
First-Year High Achieving Award (typical award)
Award values usually range between $1,000-$5,000 or more per year.
Presidential Scholars Award
Students accepted to our Presidential Scholars program may be eligible for a scholarship worth up to $40,000 over four years.
SDSU First-Gen Achievement Scholarship
Award values are typically $5,000 or more per year.
SDSU Merit Scholarship (typical award)
Awards amounts are typically $7,500 - $10,000 per year.
Weber Honors College Scholarship (typical award)
Students accepted to the Weber Honors College may be eligible for scholarships. Awards amounts are typically $1,000 - $7,500 per year.
