General Assembly Merit Scholarship (GAMS)
The General Assembly Merit Award (GAMS) is a merit-based supplemental award. This award cannot be combined with the TN HOPE Aspire Award.
Eligibility: Entering freshmen who have graduated from a Tennessee public school or category 1,2,3 private school must have minimum 3.75 weighted GPA AND a 29 ACT score (1360 SAT).
A Home school graduate must, in addition to meeting the TN HOPE scholarship requirements, during the course of a home school program achieve a 29 Composite score or above on a national test date for the ACT or a 1360 (math plus critical reading scores only) or above on a national test date for the SAT and meet additional criteria (dual enrollment, Governor's School, AP exams, or CLEP).

TN HOPE Scholarship (Traditional / Lottery Scholarship)
Qualified students can receive up to $4,500 per academic year as freshmen and sophomores, and up to $5,700 per year as juniors and seniors.
Eligibility: The TN HOPE Scholarship, also known as the Lottery Scholarship, is funded by the Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship Program. TN HOPE Scholarship amounts may vary depending on which awards you are eligible for and your grade level.

Academic Service Scholarship
$5,450/yr
Renewable award of $5,450 a year for first-time undergraduate students.
Eligibility: 1. Minimum 3.0 high school GPA (first-time freshmen) or cumulative 3.0 university GPA (transfer students);
2. Demonstrate a record of community service/volunteer work in school and/or community;
3. Ensure submission of two (2) recommendations through the online scholarship application;
4. Commit to working 125 hours each semester in a department on campus.

Mocs Scholarship
$3,000/yr
Renewable award of $3,000 per year for first-time freshmen.
Students may receive an additional $4,500 in Tennessee HOPE Lottery Scholarship funds, if eligible.
Eligibility: Since funding is limited, consideration will only be given to high school seniors entering UTC in the fall semester and who meet **all** the following criteria:
