The Medallion Scholarship is WMU’s most prestigious merit-based scholarship offered to incoming first-year students. The Medallion Scholarship is valued at approximately $92,110* over the course of four years. This includes:
* Up to $16,000 per year (for four years) for tuition and fees.
* Housing costs in standard double occupancy room of up to $6,249 per year (for four years).
* A one-time engagement scholarship of up to $3,000 to help fund either study abroad or research.
Eligibility: Students are selected through a competitive, holistic review of the admissions application file. No additional scholarship application is required. Up to 60 semifinalists will be selected to participate in an interview to select up to 20 Medallion Scholars. Semifinalists will be notified in February 2025.

Global Education Graduate Merit Scholarship
The Global Education Graduate Merit Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to international graduate students... **Scholarship Value:** Up to $10,000 per year, disbursed in two installments for fall and spring semesters.
Eligibility: Minimum GPA: 3.50/4.00 (WMU will convert all international grading systems to a 4-point scale).
* Initial F-1 or J-1 international graduate student applicants admitted for fall or spring semesters.

Global Education Undergraduate Merit Scholarship
The Global Education Merit Scholarship, valued up to $10,000 per academic year, can be applied to your WMU tuition throughout the duration of your program.
Eligibility: Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.50 out of 4.00 (WMU will convert all international grading systems to a 4-point scale)
* Initial F-1 or J-1 international undergraduate students entering WMU for the first time after secondary school or transferring from another post-secondary institution and admitted for fall or spring semester.
