Groudine Scholarship
**Amount = $750.** For undergraduate students who have declared a major in women’s and gender studies. The award is to be given to however many students each year the women’s and gender studies program sees fit.

Philosophy Merit Award (named)
Every year, the Department of Philosophy gives out thousands of dollars in scholarships and awards. (Includes Philosophy Merit Award listed among awards.)
Rising Star Award
**Amount = $400.** To a student who shows early signs of accomplishment in women’s and gender studies course work. Open to any student who has completed at least two courses in WGST beyond the introductory course and still has at least two years to graduation.
Victoria Cruz Award
**Amount = $300.** Merit-based award for a student who shows outstanding student achievement in the LGBTQ studies minor or in a course in the LGBTQ studies minor.
WGST Major Award
**Amount = $600.** To a women’s and gender studies major who will graduate that calendar year (spring, summer, or fall) and who has excelled in academic coursework in the major and, secondarily, in their other course work and academic activities as a student.
WGST Minor Award
**Amount = $400.** To a women’s and gender studies minor (in WGST or LGBTQ studies) who will graduate that calendar year (spring, summer, or fall) and who has excelled in academic coursework in the minor and, secondarily, in their other course work and academic activities as a student.
Hansen Prize stipend
The Hansen Prize... is a competitive prize that awards a cost-of-living stipend to exceptional students at the institute.
Internship stipend awards
Magner Career Center Internship Stipend Awards are competitive cash awards to help undergraduate and graduate students take nonpaid/low-paying off-campus internships. Financial awards range from $1,000 to $3,500 and are taxable.
Macaulay full-tuition scholarship
Selected for their outstanding academic merit and leadership potential, Macaulay students receive a full-tuition scholarship*, enhanced curriculum and advisement, technology tools and training, and support from the Macaulay Opportunities Fund to fund global learning, service, and research.
Range of awards
Scholarship and award amounts vary. They range from partial to full tuition for the academic year.
Rosen Fellowship stipends
Fellowships are competitive and will provide stipends of up to $5,000 to each chosen recipient.
Women’s Studies Majors ($5,000 each)
**Amount = $5,000 (each).** To two women’s studies majors with a 3.00 GPA or better who have demonstrated an interest in women’s studies by attending events and participating in initiatives. A two-page essay must be submitted to the department answering the question, “Why Women’s Studies?”
