Visual Arts Merit Scholarship
SC State studio art degree students are eligible for the Visual Arts Merit Scholarship, helping make your education more affordable.
Boren Scholarships
The Boren Awards fund the intensive study of language and culture abroad for Undergraduate and Graduates Students.
CLS award
CLS Scholarship awards are up to $8,000.
Fulbright Awards
Via the program, competitively-selected American citizens including students, scholars, teachers, professionals, scientists, and artists may receive scholarships or grants to study, conduct research, teach, or exercise their talents abroad; and citizens of other countries may qualify to do the same in the United States.
Full tuition coverage (Army Scholarships)
You’re eligible to apply for a ROTC scholarship which could get you up to 100% tuition coverage if you are willing to serve, if you’re a high school student enrolling in college, enrolled in college, or an active-duty enlisted Soldier. ROTC awards scholarships (based solely on merit) to hundreds of students each year.
Qualify, and you could get a scholarship worth up to $80,000 at some schools, including a monthly allowance.

Gilman Critical Needs Language award
Receive up to $5,000 (or up to $8,000 if you’re studying a Critical Needs Language) to go abroad on an in-person program as a college student if you’re a U.S. citizen and Federal Pell Grant recipient!
Gilman-McCain award
Receive $5,000 if you are a child or spousal dependent of an active-duty military member and receive any type of Title IV Federal Financial Aid to go abroad on an in-person program.
