Benjamin Feinberg Memorial Scholarship

Based on a dedicated gift to the college, the Benjamin Feinberg Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student “either majoring or concentrating their studies in history, government and/or political science... The Martin Hasting Scholarship is awarded to “a resident of New York State… [and] awarded to a qualifying student regardless of color, race, creed or gender. Eligibility for receipts of the scholarship shall be based upon academic achievement with financial need a preference but not an absolute requirement.”

Eligibility: All enrolled history majors are eligible and will be considered. Academic excellence is determined according to a combination of GPA and the judgment of course work by faculty who know the candidate.

Transfer students may be eligible for a financial award of $1,000 to $2,000, deducted from non-tuition educational costs during the first year only (i.e., first two semesters).

Eligibility: Scholarships are awarded on academic merit and you must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale based on coursework taken at all previously attended colleges.

* Up to $3,000 in scholarships are available for Plattsburgh students accepted to study on a Plattsburgh study abroad program. * Up to $2,000 in scholarships are available for a SUNY Plattsburgh student accepted to study on a Plattsburgh study abroad program. * Up to $500 in scholarships are available for a SUNY Plattsburgh participant on each of the faculty-led study abroad programs. * Bond University: Up to $8,000 in scholarships are available for Plattsburgh students accepted to study at Bond University. * One $5,000 per semester scholarship is available for a SUNY Plattsburgh student who plans to study abroad in Canada. * ICMS: up to $9,000 in funding available for eligible students.

Eligibility: You will have the opportunity to apply for available scholarships when you complete an online application for one of our programs. You must submit your scholarship essay along with your other application materials by the stated application deadline.
