Department of Art History Merit Scholarships
Merit Scholarships are awarded independent of financial need.
Merit Scholarships are granted to both prospective and continuing students who demonstrate exceptional talent, artistic and academic achievement, and potential for growth.
Merit scholarships are credited toward tuition.
Geneseo Community Scholarship
* Awarded at the time of admission
* Up to $2,500 per year based on academic merit
* Up to an additional $2,000 per year may be awarded based on financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

* Award amounts up to $2,500 per year

Graduate - NY State Residents
New York State residents may be eligible for scholarships of up to $2,000 per year, based on their cumulative undergraduate GPA at the time of admission.
Out-of-state and international students may qualify for scholarships of up to $4,000 per year, based on their cumulative undergraduate GPA at the time of admission.
Graduate - Out-of-State & International

IB Scholarship - one-time
Through the International Baccalaureate Scholarship, SUNY Geneseo recognizes the rigorous academic preparation students have undertaken on their way to earn an IB diploma and grants them a one-time award of $1,000.
International Merit - Tuition Scholarship
SUNY Geneseo offers tuition scholarships of up to $10,000 USD per year to international students at the time of admission.
* First year students are awarded in early February
* Award amount: $7,000 per year
* Students are required to live on-campus
* Funds are applied to on-campus room charges
Presidential Scholarship - In-state / General (First-Year)
Up to $2,500 per year based on academic merit
